What is ProArray
ProArray is a Unity plugin for rapid prefab placement in an array-like behavior, provide a faster workflow, but also come along with a brunch of special features, for example different filling mode(Box, Circle, Curve) and also different properties to let you fine tune the scene.
The name ProArray stands for prototype array, so this tool work best for rapid prototyping, however this can still be used for real production. As you can integrate ProArray into level design and model creation. ProArray is also a special workflow of laying things into the scene in a maintainable way, you can fine tune those objects anytime. The interface overview
Count:
The number of object you want to be created. Fill: How would you like the objects to be arranged, box, circle or curve? Size: You can set offset of each object and set the fixed size if the ProArrayHandler can't find the size correctly. Random: Randomise offset, rotation and the scale of each object. SubRandom: You can instantiate objects above the target objects. AutoCombine: The meshes will be grouped by the material, if they all share the same material, the will be merged into a single object to save some performance. |
